The Ohio Arts Council is committed to supporting and celebrating the rich landscape of folk and traditional arts in the state. We work to bring attention to the aesthetic forms that artists and practitioners use to sustain community – from practical and beautiful hand-made objects to stories, songs, dances, and events that bring people together. We achieve this through direct grants to traditional artists, innovative partnerships, and ongoing fieldwork.
